Holds an MD (Kayachikitsa) degree and Masters degree in Hospital Management. Has taught Ayurveda and also has a clinical practice over the past 25 years. Has excellent experience and authority in Panchakarma treatments and innovative Kerala methods of treatment, especially in treating OB and GY cases. A decade of experience in having successfully lead professional educational institutions, holding administrative charge of entire hospital staff in mid-sized hospitals, clinical management of outpatients and inpatients in fairly large numbers, designing, charting and scheduling of inpatient therapies, leading a team of researchers to develop disease-specific management guideline and documentation protocols in prioritized clinical areas and successfully conducted theory and practical classes for international students. Director, Clinical Operations (OP, IP, and Panchakarma), MS Ramaiah Indic Centre for Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine, Bangalore 2010–2013: Principal, Ramakrishna Ayurveda College and Research Centre, Ramgondanahalli, Yelahanka, Bangalore, the oldest private Ayurveda College in the city. Has effectively managed the college, hospital, and pharmacy to meet the statutory requirements and liaised with statutory bodies on behalf of the college management. Was instrumental in establishing the new hospital at the college and also significantly increase the inflow of patients. 2009-2010: Principal, Atreya Ayurveda College, Doddaballapura, Bangalore. Was instrumental in developing a system for teaching and training in tune with statutory needs and establishing the college hospital. 2005-2009: Medical Superintendent, FRLHT’s Amruth Ayurveda Nursing Home, Yelahanka, Bangalore, 20-bed nursing home with an annual turnover of around 50 lakhs and a research budget of around 1 crore.
