About Dr Surindher DSA

Dr. Surindher is a graduate from G.R.Medical College in Gwalior. He completed his Medical undergraduate studies and then went on to do his Post Graduation in Surgery at the same College. He completed his MS (Gen.Surgery) in 1998. He then went to Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab to do his super specialisation in Plastic Surgery under Dr. Abraham Thomas. After completing his MCh( plastic surgery), he returned to Bangalore to start his practice with Dr. K.S.Shekar a leading senior plastic surgeon in India. He has a special interest in Cosmetic Surgery, Cleft surgery and Microsurgery. During his course as a trainee and after, he has presented many papers in various conferences and has also been invited as a guest speaker in meetings and conferences. He has been a part of the "Smile Train" initiative in Bangalore along with Smile Train Inc. USA, providing his services to treat Cleft lip and Palate children free of the past few years he has been involved in treating more than 1000 cleft patients. He was awarded the "Rotary Young Surgeons Award" for the same effort.
