A graduate and post graduate of the prestigious ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE PUNE. Completed MBBS in 1981 and MD (MEDICINE)in 1987. University first with four gold medals. Completed postdoctoral training in NIMHANS BANGALORE and succesfully passed National Board Examinations in NEUROLOGY in 1996. Was first in the country among successful candidates. Serves in the Armed Forces from 1981 to 2005. Was deployed in zones of conflict with special forces and was award medal of honour ie VSM by the President of India. Later moved to training and research as Associate Professor and Professor at the AFMC. Since 2006 am working as a consultant in Neurology with various hospitals. Now spearhead Neurology Services for the BANGALORE BAPTIST HOSPITAL. Also conduct OPD services in SILVERLINE DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE. Areas of interest are headache,stroke ,epilepsy and geriatric wellness.
