Dr. Narpat Solanki completed his Master’s in Ophthalmology from Rajasthan University in 1986. He set up his own practice in 1987 at Bengaluru as Chief Eye Surgeon and Medical Director of Mahaveer Eye Hospital. Dr. Solanki has the credit of having successfully performed over 1,00,000 surgeries till date. He is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society and Bangalore Ophthalmic Society. Dr.Solanki has received many awards for his service to the mankind.He received the Karnataka State's highest civilian award "Karnataka Rajyotsava award" in the year of 2003.He received Samaj Bhushan in 2003,Seva Shiromani Award, Netra Brahma Award in 2009, Rajkumar Prashasthi Award in 2010,Karnataka Sahitya Parishath in 2011 & Indian Leadership Award for Health Excellence in 2012.He was recommended twice for "Padma Shri" Award by the Govt.of Karnataka.
