Dr Gita Namboodiri

Dr. Gita S. Namboodiri specializes in kayachikitsa, muscle-bone-joint disorders, hypertension, musculoskeletal diseases, arthritis, neurological disorders, ENT, menstrual disorders, leucorrhoea and PCOD. She is BSc, BAMS, and is a senior physician at AyurVAID Hospitals Ramamurthy Nagar, bringing in 16 yrs. of experience in the field of traditional Ayurveda practice. She Graduated in Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery from Government. Ayurveda College, Sampoornanda University, Varanasi. She also holds a Diploma in Yoga from Banaras Hindu University. Dr.Gita is a strong believer in the efficacy of pure Ayurveda treatments in the management of all lifestyle diseases. Before joining AyurVAID, she was the senior physician at Soukya International Holistic Health Centre, Whitefield, Bangalore for around 2 yrs. A former medical officer special who was managing the Calcutta branch of the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd for over 10 years, she has also worked physician cum RMO at Arogya Bhawan Hospital in Jamshedpur, managed by TATA Steel for 3 years. She has conducted yoga sessions for women’s groups & TATA Steel employees while at Arogya Bhawan Hospital.
