Dr. Divya Shree K.R practices as the Chief Psychiatrist and De-addiction specialist at Optima Psychiatry clinics, Mahalaxmi layout near yeshwanthpur , Bangalore. Being a seasoned medical practitioner, she specializes in handling De-addiction cases. She completed her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College (May 2002) and DPM from NIMHANS (2007).She has completed her DNB, Psychiatry from Amrita Institue of medical sciences,Kochi She has gained a wide range of medical experience by consulting at various hospitals like NIMHANS, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Bowring Hospital, VIMHANS, ISICS Hospital and AIIMS. She has the special interest in the field of Addiction Medicine and heads the department of Psychiatry and De-addiction at Optima clinics. She also has over 4 years of experience in teaching undergraduate medical students. Dr. Divya Shree has also conducted intensive research on various psychiatric topics. She has published many widely accepted papers like “Effects of Lithium-ECT combination treatment: A comparative study” and “Current Issues in Women’s Mental Health in South Asia”.
