Dr. Devaraj M has been working in the field of cataract and Refractive surgery for a period of 15 these years, he has had extensive experience in Cataract & Refractive Surgery, establishing himself as a leader in the domain of related eye care. After qualifying as a medical practitioner from JJM Medical College, Davangere, completed post-graduation in ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in the year 2001. He subsequently went ahead to do an advanced fellowship in Anterior segment, Sankara Eye Institutions at Coimbatore. The fellowship gave him experience mainly in cataract surgery inaddition to medical Retina, glaucoma, etc. During his tenure in Sankara eye hospital as consultant, he has performed more than 20000 cataract & other surgeries. With regard to medical retina work experience, he has performed numerous fundus flourescein angiography's and retinal panretinal photocoagulation lasers for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and other retinal disorders. He has extensive experience in premium eye surgeries like multifocal IOLs for presbyopia, toric IOLs for astigmatism, implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation -vision correction for high refractive errors. He subsequently joined Vasan eye care hospital as a senior consultant in 2007 and worked in multiple units like Erode- Tamilnadu, Koramangala, Marathahalli, Rajarajeshwarinagar-Bangalore until 2013. Presently working as Medical Director of Nuo Garden City Eye hospital Chandra Layout & part-time Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist, Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal, Bangalore.
