Dr Chandrakumar H V

Dr. Chandra kumar hv is a senior consultant ophthalmologist specialising in vitreo retinal surgery and medical retina. With almost two decades of experience behind him, he currently practises at sri maruthi nethralaya in bangalore. Dr. Chandra kumar holds mbbs from bangalore medical college, and md in ophthalmology from the all india institute of medical sciences (aiims), new delhi, which he obtained in 1997. After his masters, dr. Chandra kumar continued at aiims as a senior resident in vitreo-retina. He then joined the west lions eye hospital as a consultant in vitreo-retina. His next move was into training under graduates and post graduates as a lecturer at bangalore medical college, minto regional institute of ophthalmology and also serving poor and the needy. Subsequently he was associated with the nethradhama superspeciality eye hospital in jayanagar, bangalore, as senior consultant and head of department (vitreo-retina) until april 2015. Dr. Chandra kumar hv has published many papers in indexed journals, and is a regular speaker at various state, national and international conferences, besides being a respected member of many ophthalmic associations. He serves as examiner for the national board of examinations (dnb, new delhi) and the rajiv gandhi university of health sciences (rguhs) bangalore.
