Dr. (Mrs.) Bala. R has 14 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed postgraduate training at the renowned Christian Medical College and Hospital and subsequently completed her one year of fellowship program in Reproductive Medicine. For further training, she moved to UK and has worked in hospitals across London such as University College London, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals. She has completed MRCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists). She has also obtained a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). She continued to get further training in Infertility and recurrent miscarriage under Mr. Hassan Shehata, a well renowned recurrent miscarriage specialist in the UK. She has presented at international conferences, published abstracts and invited a speaker for continuous medical education. Her expertise is in managing couples with infertilty and recurrent addition, she also manages high-risk pregnancies complicated by pre-existing medical disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, renal diseases, cardiac diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases and autoimmune conditions. She also performs gynae-laparoscopic surgery, caesarean section and vaginal delivery. She is an advocate for normality and therefore an ardent supporter for achieving safe vaginal delivery.
