Patient Q&A

Invisible Aligners

Asked for patient, 22 years Asked 1 Year ago

I'm 22 years old and I have a deep overbite (deep bite). My upper front teeth significantly cover my lower teeth when I bite. I want to know whether invisible aligners (like Invisalign) would work in my case. I'm looking for the best treatment plan and duration estimate. Also, I'd prefer a non-surgical, aligner-based solution if possible. Please advise the best approach

Yes invisible slingers will work for you as your main concern is upper teeth protrusion, it can be corrected efficiently along with some habit changes like tongue thrusting

Yes, clear aligners like Invisalign can often treat deep bite cases effectively, especially when managed early and by an experienced provider. At 22, you're at a great age for non-surgical correction using aligners. Every smile is different, so we recommend a personal consultation to assess your bite and design the best treatment plan for you. On average, treatment may take 12 to 24 months, depending on severity. We’d be happy to guide you through the process.

Well aligner is definitely a revolution in orthodontic treatment and it's worth for it but in some cases traditional braces are preferred over other treatment modalities. You may consult an orthodontist ( braces specialist dentist) and he will guide you the best treatment according. Well these treatment last usually more than an year

Dental Wellness provides clear aligners, including Invisalign and advanced aligner treatments, for suitable orthodontic cases. Whether they are appropriate for a deep bite depends on your individual teeth and bite. An orthodontic consultation is recommended so the dentist can assess your case and suggest the appropriate treatment.
