Placing a crown on the implant.

Asked for patient, 52 years

I have a implant in place with a abutment(screw/fixture). The crown is missing. Would you be able to put a crown ? How long will the full process take. And how much would it cost? Kind regards Ravi K

If the implant has fused to the bone, the next step is to expose the implant and scan the abutment and fabricate a crown. Should not take more than a week for the entire process

Hello Ravi, yes, in most cases we can place a new crown if the implant and abutment are compatible and in good condition. We'll first examine it and may need an X-ray. If everything is fine, it usually takes about 5–7 days. The cost depends on the implant system and crown type. Regards, Dr. Ishan Singh
