Dear Madam, Thank you for sharing your current health concerns. A blood pressure reading of 170/106 mmHg is considered significantly high and needs immediate medical attention, especially since you are also experiencing headache and gas discomfort. Headache with high BP can sometimes indicate that the pressure is affecting the body more seriously. You mentioned taking Cilacar-T and Nicardia 20. Even after medication, if BP remains high, the following steps are very important: What you should do now: Do not ignore this reading. Please consult a nearby physician or visit a hospital today to get your BP examined directly. Your medicines may need dose adjustment or change, which should only be done after physical evaluation. Check BP every 4–6 hours and note the readings. Seek emergency care immediately if you develop: Severe or worsening headache Chest pain Breathlessness Blurred vision Giddiness or weakness in limbs Reduce salt intake completely for now and drink adequate water unless restricted by a doctor. Gas and bloating can sometimes increase discomfort, but they do not cause such high BP — so BP control is the priority. Please understand that medicine changes cannot be advised safely over message without examining you, as age, heart condition, kidney function, and other factors must be considered. Kindly arrange for an in-person consultation as soon as possible. Your health and safety are most important. Wishing you quick stabilization and relief. High blood pressure for the past few days should be evaluated carefully to understand the cause and assess whether treatment or medication adjustment is needed. I would like to know a few details to guide you properly: • What are the recent blood pressure readings you have recorded? • Are you already taking any BP medications? If yes, which ones? • Are you having symptoms like headache, dizziness, chest discomfort, or blurred vision? • Do you have any other medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, or thyroid problems? Based on your BP readings and symptoms, I can assess the situation and advise the appropriate treatment and lifestyle measures. Please book a consultation so I can review your readings and guide you with the correct management.
