Regular, continuous feedback from patients is obtained so that if there have been any slip-ups or any instance or instances of non-compliance, correction of the same immediately takes place.

Dr. Kumar Prabhu M, is a senior consultant urologist at NU Hospitals. After completing his MBBS, he did his master of surgery (MS) and then went on to pursue Diplomate National Board (DNB) in urology. He has special interest in reconstructive surgery of stricture urethra with more than 11 years experience. He is versatile in all types of urethroplasty and has done more than 500 urethroplasties including redo surgeries and urethral fistulas. He also has done 13 female urethral reconstruction for stricture, which is an uncommon condition. He has organised many workshops on reconstructive surgeries for stricture urethra and has published papers on finer aspects of these surgeries. He is also involved in NABH documentation, conducting internal audits and updating quality programs of the hospital. He is a past treasurer and past secretary of Bangalore Urological Society (BUS), past council member of the Karnataka Urological Association (KUA), Life member of Association Of Southern Urologists (ASU), Urological Society Of India (USI), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and Indian Medical Association (IMA). He is also part of the Team NU - Urology department and is actively involved in training super specialists in urology.

Dr. Prasanna Venkatesh M K, Sr. Consultant pediatric urologist and managing director has been practicing pediatric urology at NU Hospitals, Bangalore since 2003. NU Hospitals is the country's first stand alone nephrology and urology hospital to achieve the dual distinction of being both NABH and NABL accredited. His interests include pediatric urolithiasis (stone disease) - both the minimally invasive urologic surgery and the metabolic evaluation, dysfunctional elimination syndrome, urinary tract infection in children, undescended testis, PUJ obstruction, VUR (Vesico Ureteric Reflux), hypospadias, primary nocturnal enuresis (bed wetting), urodynamics in children, laparoscopic pediatric urology, posterior urethral valves (PUV) and major reconstructive urology for children with spinal dysraphisms. He has 6 publications in peer reviewed indexed journals and has also delivered numerous presentations in the field of pediatric urology across the country in various academic platforms. He was a gold medalist at his school having graduated as the best outgoing student and he is a gold medalist in Mbbs, from the Mysore University. He completed his MS - general surgery and DNB - general surgery from the J N Medical College, Belgaum and finished his residency training (DNB) in urology at the NU Trust, Bangalore. He is also a qualified pediatric urologist having finished his fellowship in pediatric urology from the Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He has had training abroad in the field of pediatric urology at the Cleveland Clinic, Columbus, Ohio and at the Boston children's hospital, Boston, USA. At various state and zonal level urology conferences, he has been a recipient of awards in the best paper and best video presentations category. His other interests are it in hospitals and hospital administration and he is currently pursuing expansion plans and launch of new units (launch of the Rajajinagar unit) of NU Hospitals at Bangalore and in Tamil Nadu. He has been instrumental in bringing down the costs of establishing a world class facility, with use of technology and quality material and equipment sourced from around the world, so that this benefit can be passed onto the patients. He is also actively working on bringing forth various philanthropic initiatives in the field of nephrology and urology so that those who cannot afford the current medical costs, may receive quality and timely care.
