Subsequently, he moved to the United Kingdom for 5 years for further skills enhancement - beginning with the Wrightington Hospital, the world famous centre for hip & knee replacements (2005-06), and then at the globally renowned Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry, where he completed a two-year Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship (2007-09). Simultaneously, he acquired his M.Sc. (Trauma & Orthopaedics and Health Services) degree from the University of Central Lancashire at Preston. Dr Sushrut has presented papers of his work in various national and international conferences like SICOT, IOACON, VOSCON, NEOCON, Cambridge hip meeting 2016 and others. A novel device for high tibial osteotomy called as rigid stepped plate, was specially designed in 2013 by Dr Sushrut Rajan to be used in Indian patients with knee arthritis. First ever Anterior column pelvis fixation surgery using Stoppas technique in Wardha and the first ever TKR surgery in Kawardha, Chattisgarh was recently done by him.
