It was then that Dr. Sabharwal had his first real life clinical experience with the fascinating field of mental health. During his MD, Dr. Sabharwal was also posted at India's foremost public mental health centre, NIMHANS, Bangalore. He then joined Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital in 2015, after completing his MD, where he worked as a Senior Resident. With an OPD load of more than 60 patients per day, and an IPD care load of a minimum 10 patients at all times, he gained a vast experience in managing both acute and chronic cases. Dr. Sabharwal has also worked extensively in the de-addiction field in the last decade. In addition to inpatient psychiatry and detoxification, he has also been the Consultant Psychiatrist at Franks Wellness De-addiction Centre Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad, where he overlooked the rehabilitation of patients suffering from substance use problems and addiction.
