Dr. Nilkanth Akolkar is the founder of Narayani Ayurveda Panchakarma Chikitsalaya. He completed his degree from India's oldest and renowned institution Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyala established in 1933 in Pune. After being practically trained under the guidance of renowned Ayurvedic physician in India Dr. D P Gadgil, he started working as an Ayurvedic and Panchakarma Consultant in his own Clinic in Pimpri Chinchwad, India. This Clinic was further expanded to Narayani Ayurveda Panchakarma Chikitsalaya with branch in Koregaon Park and recently in Kothrud in Pune. He has an experience of over six years in the field of Ayurveda n Panchakarma consultation, yoga therapy and specially diet and lifestyle management. He is an M.Sc. scholar from prestigious yoga Institute S-VYASA, Bangalore with specialization in yoga therapy. Along with medical background, he conducts yoga lectures, social activities regarding awareness about lifestyle disorders and Ayurveda approach to the same. The main aim of Narayani Ayurveda Panchakarma Chikitsalaya is to stop the spread of lifestyle disorders with the help of indigenous authentic science of yoga and Ayurveda. For the same purpose, Masters to decode and thoroughly understand original manuscripts he has learned Sanskrit and completMaster's degree in Sanskrit from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth Pune. He has completed P.G.DEMS from Ruby Hall Clinic affiliated to West midland university, England. He has worked as assistant vaidya in Ayu. Department of Nargis Datta Memorial Foundation's Cancer Hospital & research center Barshi, Maharashtra under the guidance of Dr. Dilip P. Gadgil in the oncology department. He has also attended and presented papers in many International and National seminars on Ayurveda and Yoga. He has written articles on Ayurveda in various magazines. His expertise is in preventive, curative & supportive Ayurvedic treatment of Cardiac problems like Chronic heart disease, Chronic kidney disorders, Cancer, Hypertension, Chronic kidney disorders, Liver disorders, Chronic Orthopedic, Male and Female infertility.
