Dr. Reena Gupta is an experienced IVF specialist who obtained her MBBS degree from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi (2000 batch) and completed her M.S. in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. She was awarded “Gold Medal” for rendering excellent services in the department as Senior Resident in Safdarjung Hospital. She always had keen interest in IVF treatment and infertility management, and she was selected for FNB in Reproductive Medicine through a highly competitive national level examination. This 2-year post-doctoral fellowship from the National Board is aMCI-recognised degree in this field. She completed her FNB from Nova IVI fertility, Ahmedabad, under the guidance of world renowned infertility specialists Dr. Manish Banker and Dr. Sandeep Shah.
She has also done additional training in Ultrasonography, FOGSI Advanced Infertility training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Operative Laparoscopy course at AIIMS, New Delhi. She has contributed significantly to research, and has publications in high quality international and national journals. She has presented her original research work in multiple conferences. She has also been active in teaching and training in infertility treatment and IVF, and has written chapters in multiple books on the subject of infertility.
As an IVF specialist she has good experience in managing infertility patients from India and abroad. Her interest areas include PCOS, recurrent implantation failure and male infertility treatment. She believes in providing patient specific treatment based on Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) and globally accepted protocols. She is a life member of Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), Indian Fertility Society (IFS) and Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecologic Societies of India (FOGSI).
