Dr Naginder Vashisht is well-versed in various ophthalmological clinical skills, which include fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography, ultrasonography of ocular structures and adnexa, and microbiological evaluation of infectious ocular diseases. In addition, he has had considerable exposure to ocular pathology and pharmacology laboratory procedures, Humphrey visual field evaluation and Goldman perimetry, ocular pachymetry and corneal topographic evaluation. He is also familiar with videokeratography and orbs can, refractive surgery and biometry workup. He has worked extensively on lasers and cryotherapy which include YAG-PI, YAG capsulotomy, retinal photocoagulation (focal, grid, full & sectoral scatter), laser indirect ophthalmoscopy, TTT, PDT and retinal cryotherapy. Dr Vashisht's surgical experience includes performing phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia, buckling surgery, pars plana vitrectomy, vitreoretinal surgeries for complicated retinal detachment, macular hole surgery and managing trauma cases including IOFB and endophthalmitis. Besides his clinical expertise, Dr Vashisht has been actively involved in research studies, and several of his co-authored papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals or presented as posters or podium presentations at medical conferences.
