Subsequently he was trained in various spine surgeries in India and abroad He has worked in spine departments of reputed hospitals like Lilavati Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital and Hinduja Healthcare Surgicalsin Mumbai. He has also gained experience from various renowned spine centres of the country like Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, Park Clinic, Kolkata and Apollo Hospitals Chennai. He has been trained in minimally invasive spine surgery in Texas,USA, Hong Kong and Malaysia. He has performed nearly 1000 spine surgeries including lumbar degenerative disease, spine tumors, spinal deformities and spinal infection. He is well trained in minimally invasive spine surgeries and robotic spine surgery with keen interest in keyhole spine surgeries, disc replacement surgeries and revision spine surgery. He secured first position and was awarded prestigious ASSI Travelling fellowship in 2016 by Association of Spine Surgeons of India. He was also awarded with SRS Global outreach scholarship in Philadelphia ,USA, by scoliosis research society. With keen interest in research and innovation, he has nearly 50 international research publications and book chapters in various renowned journals/Textbooks covering various aspects of spine surgery. He is an editorial board member and reviewer of many national and international journals. He has received ‘Best Reviewer Award’ for his dedicated work in Journal of Orthopaedic Case Reports. His research work is widely appreciated and has presented it in many national and international conferences.
