Before joining as consultant HPB and Liver transplant surgery at Zydus hospital, he got trained and worked at various institute of national importance in field of Gastro-surgery and Liver transplantation. He had remarkable academic carrier. After completion of MBBS at PSMC, Karamsad, he was a topper in all India entrance examination at prestigious post graduate institute of medical education and research centre (PGIMER) at Chandigarh. He completed his residency in general surgery and joined the surgical gastroenterology department as senior registrar. During his 5-year training at PGIMER, He got experience in complex hepatobiliary surgery like major liver resection, liver resection in cirrhosis, carcinoma gall bladder, Pancreatic surgery, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, liver surgery, hepatocellular carcinoma and liver transplantation. He has done his super specialization in hepatobiliary and liver transplantation (M. Ch) super specialist at institute of liver and biliary sciences(ILBS) at New Delhi.
