Dr. Gaurav Kasat had done post graduation in MS general surgery from grant government medical college, JJ hospital, Mumbai. He had worked as an assistant professor in department of general surgery at Grant Government medical college, Mumbai. He did Mch Urology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical college, Sion , Mumbai. He had also completed DNB Genitourinary Surgery.He He had worked as an assistant professor in department of urology at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, Mumbai.

He had working experience of more than 9 years working at top government (JJ Hospital) and public ( Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Sion) hospitals. He had vast experience in management of renal stones with PCNL and has updated his skills to laser mini PCNL and laser ultramini PCNL. He had experience in treating large prostate glands with monopolar as well as bipolar saline TURP. He has special interest in uro-onchology such as bladder malignancy, renal malignancy and prostate cancer and penile cancer. He has experience in completely treating bladder cancer endoscopically with TURBT. He has special interest in urethral stricture disease where in a single stage urethral disease can be treated. He is also experienced in reconstructive bladder surgeries. He has experience in andrology such as male infertility and erectile dysfunction. He has interest in female urology and had published several journal publications on female urology. He has experience in renal transplant surgeries. He was part of a team for removal of heaviest kidney tumour in world for that team is recognised for Guiness World record. He has special interest in academics and presented several presentations in zonal and national conferences. He has more than 18 publications in his name in national and international journals.
