She was awarded the IUGA (International Urogynecology Association) International Fellowship in Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery which she completed in the prestigious department of Urogynecology at Cleveland Clinic Florida before returning to India. In addition to her private practice, she is also the founding Director of the upcoming Tata Center for Urogynecology & Pelvic Health, India’s first comprehensive academic clinical ‘Center of Excellence’ in the field. A National Talent Search Scholar, Dr. Hegde has had a sterling academic career with numerous distinctions through her medical training & the best resident award.
