Dr. Jitendra Singh Raghuvanshi has done pioneering work in the field of positive health against Drug Abuse and AIDS control by blending physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of life for the welfare of human beings. His research work also explores the use of medicines and plants and herbs not known to common practitioners in promoting the concept of positive health. He has done his BAMS and MD in Ayurveda. Soon after completing his degree from Delhi university He had fought against few persons within the systems (central, state, Government departments, others, university depts. etc ) for an injustice done against him in various Zones which always put him back again and again. This way he could not serve the Nation and humanity in the desired wavelength and his whole carrier was badly ruined. A support and assistance are still expected in these matters which may bring some best outcome for the whole Humanity. He has trained 1000 Practitioners and 500 farmers to cultivate the medicinal plants so far not known to common practitioners and farmers and is of high utility in traditional health delivery system. He has a great organizational capacity to improve and create multiuse mobilization of people for a good cause and possesses leadership quality in the field of health education, family welfare, women and child development, community health, and Rural Development sector. Research/ Workshop Activities: Clinical evaluation of Sarpagandha compound on hypertension. Therapeutic Evaluation of Ayurvedic Medicine and treatment of Diabetes Mellitus with Neuropathy. Major stress on Fundamentals of health and principles for – Happy and Healthy family norms relating to tribal society (National Study, Concluded as seminar/ Training at Rabindra Bhavan, Bhopal, March 2003). Collection of objects of Art and Craft including Divine herbs ‘Rigveda Time – Soma etc.’ and documentation of cultural crafts – music, folk dance literature was awarded and he was on the Himalayas during the project (2001-2002), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Got able to rename the Pankha Road as Bhagwan Mahavir Marg with permission of Municipal Corporation of Delhi in May 2003 vides letter number MD/25/2003 dated 09/05/2003.
