Dr. Poorna Chandra KS completed his post graduate degree in Medicine (M.D.) and doctorate (D.M.) in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He has won 13 gold medals and 7 certificates of merit during his MBBS and he stood first in Final MBBS for the Mysore University. He also won a medal of merit during his postgraduate courses. He is well trained in the Management of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases including emergencies and in performing GI Endoscopic procedures. He is well versed in all Diagnostic and Therapeutic Upper GI and colonoscopy procedures as well as therapeutic ERCP. He is well versed in Capsule Endoscopy, Manometry and Bariatric procedures (Intragastric balloon placement for obesity).
