Ms. Divya Baveja is a qualified psychotherapist and an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist with around 9 years of experience in the field of Psychology and Mental Health. She founded ‘The Mindsight’ with a view to impart psychological services like psychotherapy, psychodiagnostic, counseling as well as training to individuals, couples, or organizations. She has received her training from the best faculties the country offers. After completing B.A. Psychology Honours from Delhi University, she pursued her Post Graduation (M.A.) in Psychology from Delhi University and M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious Central Institute of Psychiatry. Her work experience includes relationship counseling and adolescent counseling in The Counselling Institute, Delhi; serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology, AMITY University Lucknow for around 2.5 years where she gave training to the future psychotherapists of the country in counseling skills, listening skills, psychodiagnostic and various schools of psychotherapy, in an RCI affiliated program. Her extensive training and work experience equip her to deal with a diverse range of issues an individual or couple or a family may be confronted by – depression, anxiety, phobia, OCD, grief, emotional or behavioral issues, addiction, mood disorders, stress, existential concerns, adjustment issues, relationship/marital problems or severe conditions like Schizophrenia. Being passionate about the field of mental health, she remains curious about the nature of mind and human relationships. She has many published research papers and book chapters. She keeps updating her knowledge and skills in different forms of psychotherapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Transactional Analysis, mindfulness-based therapies, Gestalt Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Short term Dynamic Therapy, etc to keep adding to her ‘toolkit’. Her core approach at therapy is to understand comprehensively and relate with the client, given his cultural, familial, educational background, bring about insights within the client that propel self-growth, healing and holistic integration of his personality, goals, and purpose.
