ACL reconstruction surgery is a common knee surgery that fixes a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). ACL reconstruction may be recommended for people who:

1. Autograft

ACL reconstruction recovery is a long process, often 9–12 months before a full return to sports or high-level activities.

- Increase knee movement
