Medicine, for me, has always been more than a profession and it’s a way of life that teaches you to stay calm when everything around you is chaos. From managing critical cases in the icy winds of Leh to serving at the NCC Officers Training Academy, the Indian Army taught me lessons that no textbook ever could discipline, resilience, and the quiet strength of teamwork. After completing my MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, I served as a Medical Officer in the Indian Army (2016– 2023). Working in remote, resource-limited areas, I learned how to make decisions when every second mattered and how trust can heal just as much as medicine can.
