Dr. R. K. He is the Director and Founder of Reconnect Neuropsychatry and Child Guidance Clinic at Surajmal Vihar, New Delhi. It is an exclusive Neuropsychatry and Child behavioural clinic for well-being of Adults and Childrens, Adolescents, Parents, Families and Geriatric population. Dr. R.K. Srivastava is a Psychiatrist who deals with an extensive variety of Psychiatric problems. He has completed his MBBS from Meerut and went on to obtain his DNB (Psychiatry), CCST (U.K). Having spent about 21 years in this field, he has gained not only extensive experience and training but has also developed a wide base of satisfied clients showing positive results. Dr. Srivastava is dynamic and open-minded. He attempts to create spaces where understanding, respect, and open communication about different ways of being can be attempted and implemented. Spreading awareness of various psychiatric illnesses and how to get through them with the help of various measures is an added positive about him. He has been involved in a wide range of facets pertaining to Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry, as well as De-addiction and Rehabillitation. Dr. Srivastava has been activley involved in National and International conferences and also has been chairing sessions in them. His career as a Psychiatrist began when he had joined Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, Dilshad Graden, Delhi in October 1996. Later he did his D.N.B. from IHBAS. Thereafter– he held a tenure of 3 years as Senior Resident Psychiatrist. He had been invloved in research projects as Research Associate till November, 05. In addition, was a part of various speciality clinics during the same time, like De-addiction, Rehabillitation, Out-Patient and In-Patient Departments, Child Guidance Clinic, Psychosexual amongst others. Dr. R. K. Srivastava has conducted Workshops, Seminars for General Practionaries, Teachers and Parents at various Schools and Colleges. Also he has delivered lectures at National and International Conferences for Medical and Mental Health Professionals. He has also been conducting courses for College and University Students. Dr. R.K. Srivastava has been invited as a guest by various TV channels(India TV, AAJ TAK, DELHI AAJ TAK, NDTV INDIA, STAR NEWS, NDTV, SAHARA SAMAY , CNN-IBN, IBN 7, DD,) to share his opinions in the area of Mental Health issues for both Child & Adolescent as well as Adult and Geriatric population.
