He has innovated "555 Manish Technique" for TEP repair of groin hernia which enables to perform laparoscopic groin hernia repair by only 5mm holes. For this he has indigenously made a retractor device "Manish Retractor" for putting the 5mm port precisely in the correct plane. Less pain, smallest possible scars & early return to work are the advantages of this technique. He has presented his technique in many international & national hernia conferences held at Boston, Vienna, Dubai & Hamburg etc in last 4 years. Till now he has done more than 250 successful groin hernia surgery by his innovative technique.His main area of interest is the laparoscopic management of gallbladder, hernia, colo-rectal surgery & Bariatric surgery (obesity or weight loss surgery).
