Dr Suresh Kumar is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with nearly twenty years’ experience in the medical field. He completed MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He has trained as a General Paediatrician before specialising in Psychiatry. He has completed super specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from London, UK. He has extensive clinical experience practising both in UK and India. He has specialist skills in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with emotional problems, depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, stress disorders, eating disorders, behavioural problems, sleep problems, neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism/ Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Tic disorders. He is highly experienced in supporting his patients and their families dealing with various psychological problems and stress related conditions. He helps young people suffering from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, anger problems, sleep difficulties, psychological trauma, relationship difficulties, somatisation and medically unexplained physical symptoms.
