He was recognised as an instructor and guide by the National Board of Examinations, MCI and was involved in training two students every year for the award of the degree of Dip. National Board Exams. He later moved on to Malar Hospitals, Adyar in 1998 and did some exemplary Ortho cases. He was awarded the "Best Doctor Award" of the Govt. of Tamilnadu by the Governor of TN in 2011. He was awarded Adjunct Professor from MGR University, Tamilnadu.
