His post graduate training included a surgical internship and residency at J.J.M.Medical college, a three year General Surgery Residency Programme after his six year bachelor’s programme in medicine and surgery. After graduating from residency, he moved to Hyderabad where he started General surgery private pratice with a multi-speciality group. He also joined as Assistant professor of surgery in Deccan College of Medical sciences for a period of two years continuing his private practice. He had built a very successful General Surgery practice at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad, but after two years, he developed a yearning to learn Minimally invasive surgery and worked with various Laparoscopic workshops.
