Dr. Mayur Kardile is a United States trained spine surgeon from Pune, India. He is one of the best spine specialists in Pune and one of the rarest few spine surgeons in India thoroughly trained to do anterior surgeries of the spine. He is an accomplished spine surgeon as well as specialized in motion-preserving minimally invasive spine surgical procedures. With such exclusive expertise he holds the forte to approach spine disorders conservatively to treat the majority of patients by the non-surgical route. He has helped many patients to regain their mobility and get back to an active lifestyle after having substantially lost mobility because of complex spine disorders. His mission is to bring to his patients the spine care which is at par with American standards. Dr. Kardile received his MBBS degree from the deemed university and the renowned medical institution Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad in 2009. He completed his internship from Pune’s premier medical institute, BJ Medical College and Hospital. He received residency training at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, Orissa from 2010 to 2013 and obtained an MS Orthopedics degree. Further, he honed his skills in the United States, where he accomplished his fellowship in complex spinal deformities and minimally invasive spine surgery from Northern California Regional Spine Surgery Center at Kaiser Permanente, one of North America's leading healthcare systems from Oakland, California with the highest standards of care in the United States. He has also worked on research projects related to predictive modeling of outcomes in spine surgery at UCSF (University of California - San Francisco). Dr. Kardile specializes in pediatric and adult complex spinal reconstructive surgeries needed for conditions like scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, flatback syndrome, spine infections and tumors. He also specializes in motion-preserving minimally invasive spine surgical procedures needed for conditions like a herniated disc (slip disc), lumbar canal stenosis, sciatica, cervical spondylosis, and myelopathy. Dr. Mayur Kardile has written several articles in reputed journals. He is an avid researcher focused on the advancement of science in the field of Spine Surgery. He is also passionate about teaching and spreading his knowledge and skills to budding surgeons. He provides training on Spine Surgery to many medical institutes in India and abroad, where he teaches management of spinal ailments to medical students and orthopedic residents.
