Ms Neha Nakra

Dr. Neha Nakra is a RCI registered Psychologist and certified Psychometrician and Special Educator. A doctorate scholar from TWU, UK and MPhil in psychology, she has studied and worked in India and abroad (United Kingdom and USA) with experience in counseling, psychotherapies and assessments. She is also a registered counselor with National career Services, Ministry of Labour & Employment, India. Neha works closely with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families for different issues and concerns on individual and group basis. She also works with students providing career counseling. She has strong understanding of counseling and skilled in psychotherapies like cognitive behavior therapy, schema therapy, dialectical therapy, and transference focused psychotherapy, imago relationship therapy etc. She is flexible in adopting a therapeutic approach as necessitated by the needs of her clients. She has helped individuals deal with depression, anxiety, stress, anger at work or in personal life, behavioural issues and adaptation, dementia, phobia, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, work life balance, interpersonal concerns, communication etc. With children and adolescents, Neha works on behavioural issues and adaptation, academic performance and learning problems; anxiety and emotional problems, career counselling, personality development, constructive parenting, growing up and puberty issues. For many years she has been providing her support to differently abled children. She also bridges the gaps and works closely with child, school, parents and CBSE. Certified Life skill trainer by Expressions India (partner WHO), she has conducted life skills training with employees and students. She has developed and conducted workshops on Self-motivation and positive attitude, stress management, depression let’s talk, anger management, work life balance, effective communication, Workplace Bullying and Sexual Harassment, effective parenting, child growth and development, awareness on LD, ADHD, and ADD, Good touch bad touch, Puberty, etc. She is an active MyKensho and tGelf trainer. Neha has also worked closely in development, standardization and adaption of many Psychometric tools. A certified Psychometrician from Universities from UK and USA; she has been an Examiner with Pearson India for multiple psychometric tools. She conducts aptitude and intelligence tests, behavior, personality and projective tests, career interest, Psycho-educational assessments. During her practicing years, she has seen people pass through the stages of pain to stages of comfort. It’s their constant belief to fight their pain and achieve happiness which encourages her to keep going. Her motto in life is “Believe in Yourself”
