Dr Amit Shrivastava

Dr. Amit Shrivastava is a consultant neurologist with 15 years of experience in Neurology, and 20 years of experience as a medicine Practitioner . He completed his MBBS and MD from MGM Medical College, Indore, and DM (Neurology) from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore , Tamil Nadu where he served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology for intial few years . His specializations are Acute Stroke Management and Post Stroke Rehabilitation, Headache especially Migraine management , Pain management, and movement disorders. He has worked with some prestigious Hospitals in Delhi NCR like Fortis Vasant Kunj and Fortis Escorts as Senior Consultant ; BLK Super speciality Hospital Head of Department of Jaypee Hospital,Noida and Senior Consultant , PSRI Hospital , in his previous stints . Presently ,he is serving as Head of Department of Neurology ,at the famous Superspeciality Hospital , Dharamshila Narayana Hospital at Vasundhara Enclave ,New Delhi . He has done several research compilations like "Role of Stem cell Stimulation in the management of stroke' . His research Paper on " Longitudinal study of Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis " was awarded FIRST PRIZE in the Poster Category ,at the Indian Academy of Neurology Annual Conference at Cochin,2009. He was instrumental in establishing the Protocol and Guidelines for Acute Stroke Management Programme at Fortis Escorts Hospital . Recently he has been awarded the 'Rising Star in Neurology' in Delhi NCR as per the survey conducted by the Prestigious Times of India group.
