Dr Tushar Thorat

Dr. Tushar Thorat is a Consultant Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Tushar has over 8 years of experience in transforming lives of patients of disfigured face and body parts due to various causes like Cancer, Burns, Trauma and Congenital Anomalies. By giving patients a new face, he has helped thousands of such sufferers lead a life of hope, confidence, and dignity. He graduated (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Later he completed Post graduation study in MS General Surgery from renowned B J Medical College at Pune. At B J Medical College, he had an enriching experience in managing Burns patients and General surgical emergencies. He completed his MCh plastic Surgery in 2014 at TN Medical College and Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He also worked as Burns registrar at Kasturba Hospital, Mumbai. While doing Super Speciality Medical officer post at KEM Hospital he pursued DNB in Plastic Surgery in 2015. After achieving vast experience in Reconstructive surgery for cancer, burns, trauma and congenital anomalies he went to South Korea as International Fellow in Microsurgery and Aesthetic Surgery. He joined Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in 2016 as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. His special interest is in Cosmetic Surgery and Microsurgery. Dr. Tushar is passionate about Plastic Surgery and it has been his dream branch. According to him, Face is the mirror of the Soul and a source of self-esteem. He believes that every patient has the right to avail the expertise of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery to get the desired body image.
