Dr. Sharmila Naik is an expert Obstetrician, Gynecologist and Lap surgeon in Mumbai and has a vast experience of nearly 12 years in this field. Dr has managed several High risk pregnancies successfully to her credit and performed numerous Gynaecological surgeries. She has an enriching work experience from the esteemed Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical college and Hospital, Sion and has done her post graduation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from KJ Somaiya medical college, Sion. Dr has trained in Minimal access surgery i.e. Laparoscopy and 'Day care Hysterectomy' from Nanavati hospital, Mumbai. Proficient in surgeries like Cesarean section, Abdominal hysterectomy, NDVH, Lap ovarian cystectomy, MTP, even cosmetic gynecology like Vaginoplasty and Hymenoplasty. She promotes Normal delivery, gives pre-pregnancy counselling, treats urinary tract infections, ovarian cyst management, treatment of infertility cases. She has conducted more than 2000 plus successful deliveries in her career of over a decade.High risk pregnancies and Endoscopy are her areas of interest. Dr has trained in comprehensive Ultrasound in pregnancy and Gyn from premiere institute like Nowrosjee Wadia hosptial, Mumbai. She has attended course in IUI and infertility management from Nova IVI, Mumbai. Dr attends numerous hand on workshops and seminars and is highly updated in this speciality.
