Dr Niraj B. Shah

Dr. Niraj B Shah is a consultant Urologist and Laparoscopy Uro-Surgeon practicing in the field of Urology since 6 years. After completion of his super specialty training at Pune, he mastered his skills in advanced Endourology and Minimal Access Laser Surgery at Mumbai with one of the pioneers in Laser Surgery in India. He has been trained to perform Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP) including more than 100 grams Prostate, Flexible Ureteroscopy and Laser Lithotripsy for Renal and Ureteric Stones. Due to his ambition to improve his skills further, he went to Germany for a Fellowship in Laser, Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery under the guidance of Professor J Rassweiler. He acquired expertise in Laser Surgeries, advanced Laparoscopy and 3 D Lap procedures and Robotic Surgeries with Da Vinci Robot. He was also a member of Multicentre trial for ETHOS- Ergonomics in Laparoscopy during his tenure at Germany. Dr. Shah has been practicing in western Suburb in Mumbai since his return and is performing all basic Endourology procedures like TURP, URS, PCNL, TURBT, VIU, etc. He has a special interest in Holmium Laser Surgeries performed in Urology. He is an expert in HoLEP, Flexible Ureteroscopy (RIRS), MiniPERC and Laser Resection of Bladder Tumors.
