left side leg no feeling for touch - for past 5 days - kindly explain, and she is sugar patient for past 7 years

Dr Kiran Pal replied

Hello, Loss of touch sensation in the left leg for the past 5 days, especially in a patient with diabetes, should not be ignored. According to Ayurveda, this may be due to aggravated Vata Dosha affecting the nerves and circulation (Vata Vyadhi). Early evaluation is important to identify the root cause and prevent further complications. Kindly visit the clinic for a detailed assessment and appropriate Ayurvedic treatment. View answer

Vertigo treatment kar ta hai

My Health Condition: Vertigo, Unbalance, and Dizziness* I am suffering from a neurological problem called *Vertigo*. For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing a heavy feeling at the back of my head, frequent episodes of *unbalance while walking*, and *dizziness*. The main symptoms I face are: 1. A sudden pushing sensation at the back of my head. 2. Loss of balance while walking or standing. I feel like I might fall. 3. Dizziness and lightheadedness, especially when I change my position or stand up quickly. 4. Sometimes a spinning sensation, as if the room is moving around me. 5. Mild nausea and difficulty in concentrating. Due to this condition, my daily activities are affected. I cannot walk properly without support. I feel unsafe climbing stairs or going out alone. I have consulted and taken medication like Vertin OD, but the symptoms are not fully relieved. Vertigo is usually caused by problems in the inner ear, cervical spine, low blood pressure, or neurological issue

Dr Kiran Pal replied

Dear Patient, Your symptoms of vertigo, dizziness, imbalance while walking, heaviness at the back of the head, and a sensation of being pushed may indicate an imbalance of Vata Dosha affecting the nervous system and balance mechanisms. According to Ayurveda, conditions such as Vata Vyadhi, disturbance of the Majja Dhatu (nervous tissue), and impaired circulation to the head and neck region can lead to such symptoms. Factors such as cervical spine issues, stress, irregular food habits, disturbed sleep, aging, and chronic health conditions can further aggravate Vata, resulting in dizziness, instability, and difficulty in daily activities. Since your symptoms are persistent despite medication, a detailed Ayurvedic assessment is recommended to identify the root cause and plan appropriate treatment. Early management may help improve balance, reduce dizziness, and prevent further progression. Kindly visit the clinic for a thorough evaluation and personalized Ayurvedic treatment. View answer
