Heat Illness And Dehydration In Children

It is extremely hot and humid in tropical countries like India, particularly during the summer months. There are times when heat waves prevail all through the country, making people suffer from extreme heat and humidity. So, in this type of climate, it is important to take good care of your health so that you can keep cool and not fall ill. It is vital to know that during the summer months, special care must be taken of your children because the immune system of your children is completely different from that of the adult’s body. So, when it comes to the matter of taking care of children in the summer months, parents need to be careful and should know the correct procedures and steps to follow to keep children healthy during hot and humid summer.

When and Why Does Child Bite?

Toddlers do the cutest of things. They give you surprise hugs, shriek with delight and cuddle up to you when they are tired. However, as any parent of a toddler knows, they can also do some less-than-adorable behaviors, such as kick, scream, or even bite. Although biting is normal in children this age, it is of no consolation if your toddler does bite. After all, no one wants their child to be known as the playground bully. Worse, children who are tagged “biters” may be rejected from childcare centers, which is a task no working parent ever wants to confront. You could believe that biting is just another phase through which you will have to go through, but this is not always the case. There are a few options for getting to the bottom of this.

Sore Throat in Children and Concern Among Parents

When you have kids at home, being concerned about them is quite normal and in fact, regular for many parents. Children have a comparatively lower immune response system than adults or any elderly person, for that matter, their parents as well, as a result of which, they are more prone to develop several types of health issues and even harmful infections. It is due to this reason that parents must take proper care of their children so that they do not get in contact with factors that lead to the occurrence of diseases. Many children are known to suffer from severe conditions as a result of sore throat, a type of health issue with a sensation of pain and dryness in their throat.
