Dr Bindiya Doshi

Dr. Bindiya Doshi is an experienced vitreo-retinal surgeon who has received all her medical training at premier institutes. She did her fellowship training in Vitreo-retina and Ocular Oncology at the prestigious Sankara Eye Hospital in Bangalore. Prior to this, she did her MBBS and MS Ophthalmology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. After her training, she has been working at KBH Bachooali Eye Hospital which is one of the busiest charitable eye hospitals in Mumbai. She is also attached to Shree Mahavir Clinic in Malad. She has extensive clinical and operative experience. Her special interests are retinal detachment surgeries, macular surgeries, and diabetic retinopathy. She has performed over 2500 retinal lasers and 2000 intravitreal injections. She also has a keen interest in the management of uveitis and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Doshi is also interested in research and has over seven publications in national and international scientific journals. She has presented papers at multiple conferences, received recognition for an exemplary oral presentation for being the youngest research presenter at the National Symposium on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. She has also received multiple scholarships from the Indian Council of Medical Research.
