Dr Ashit Sheth

Dr. Ashit Sheth has been a practicing psychiatrist for almost 40 years. He stood first in his MBBS as well as MD examinations. He is a Hon. Psychiatrist to the Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. Till his early retirement in 1994 he was Hon. Professor of Psychiatry at KEM Hospital and G. S. Medical College. He has authored more than 50 publications in national and international journals and contributed chapters to various medical text books. He has edited psychiatric section in text book of medicine published by API. He was awarded Dr. Vaidya lectureship award in 1993, Dr. K.T. Dholakia lecture in 2004, and Dr. V.V. Jaykar oration in 2005. He is on the teaching faculty of the Indian Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. He has been practicing hypnotherapy for last 25 years. He is a member of International Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. He has deep interest in photography and has made four professional audio-visuals related to medical subjects. He is a well-known and popular speaker and is giving lectures on various subjects to lay audiences, family physicians, postgraduate students, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and consultants. His clinic is known as Unlimited Potentialities. He is also conducting workshops on hypnosis, hypnotherapy, anger management and stress management..
