Dr Ajay Jhaveri

Dr. Ajay Bharat Jhaveri is a Mumbai-based gastroenterologist with national board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology, having acquired the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) title in both these streams. With more than 10 years of experience in hospital and clinical settings, Dr. Jhaveri is currently consultant gastroenterologist in the department of gastroenterology at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai. He is also available for consultation at the imaging point clinic on weekday evenings. In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr. Jhaveri has worked on research projects and clinical trials, published papers in medical journals, delivered talks and helped in the organization of national and international conferences. He has been actively involved in national health programs connected to pulse polio, leprosy and malaria eradication. He has participated in social awareness programs held by the preventive and social medicine department of in medical college and has been involved in community geriatric medical camps, as well as camps for school and orphanage children. He has worked at primary health centers in the villages of Parol and Bhathane, as part of his service to the community. He has received numerous awards for his outstanding academic and professional work, and for his efforts at state level painting competitions, elocution and dramatics.
