Prof. Dr. Atul Jajoo is a highly-experienced senior dental consultant with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) - Orthodontics, and a Diplomate of Indian Board of Orthodontics (DIBO) to his credit. He has been practising dentistry and teaching as a professor for over 17 years in Indore region, and is a well-respected member of Indian Orthodontic Society. Patients, specially kids, love Dr. Jajoo because he excels at gentle dentistry. In addition to managing his own orthodontics practice, Dr Atul Jajoo is a consultant at CHL Hospital (since 2010) and Daly College (since 2016) in Indore and has published/presented numerous dental research papers.In the recent past, he supervised and counseled dental staff as a Head of Department at Index Institute of Dental Sciences (IIDS), Indore. Dr. Jajoo is also the first orthodontist from Central India to earn a DIBO - a prestigious degree and exam of highest standards in the field of orthodontics in India, given for clinical excellence in the field of braces. So far, only 95 orthodontists (out of 3,000) have managed to earn this highly-sorted degree in India. Education: Dr Atul Jajoo earned his bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in 2001 (with honors), and a master’s degree in Orthodontics &Dentofacial Orthopedics (2006) from Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVP), Pune, India. Recently he was selected for International Observership Programme and travelled to University of Nagasaki, Japan for clinical and research work in the field of orthodontics.He got the rare opportunity to visit Sendai Aoba Clinic, Department of IDT, Japan to learn surgery-first approach in orthodontics under the able guidance of Dr Junji Sugawara, Japan. Giving back to the community: Inspired by his father’s passion to serve rural underserved communities, who was a family physician, Dr. Jajoo launched his own dental practice at a charitable trust hospital inNagda. Within three years, he expanded his practice to theCity of Indore, but continue to follow in his father’s footsteps by providingfree dental check-ups to under-privileged kids at a school run by Navyug Aarambh, a non-profit organization.
