• Awarded Gold Medal for securing the first position in all India in DNB Surgical Gastroenterology 2011, by Hon Health Minister Sh Ghulam Nabi Azad and Lok Sabha Speaker Smt Meera Kumar. • Passed DNB Final examinations in Surgical Gastroenterology conducted by National Board of Examinations in the first attempt. • Awarded B Braun scholarship for outstanding achievements in post-graduate medical studies in a field of Gastrosurgery, 2009. • Selected for Prestigious International fellowship in hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation in ASAN Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea. • Awarded a Travel Bursary to attend and present the poster in 18th National Conference of Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, 2008 in Chennai, India. • Presented Poster in Prestigious Annual Breast Cancer Conference in Miami, Florida in Feb 2007 on Role of Youth in Breast Cancer Awareness in Developing Countries. • MS in General Surgery from Manipal University, India. • Joined DNB Surgical Gastroenterology (Super Specialty) after passing All India National Board entrance examination. • Completed MRCS (UK) in 2006 and PLAB in 2005.
