Rajas B Patel has always been working for the betterment of patients in Oncology department. In order to take his researches forward to people around the world, he has published numerous journals, papers and reports. “Cardiac arrhythmia management – Simulation based workshop” by Prof. Giuseppe A. Marraro [Italy], at Dr. D. Y. Patil medical simulation lab, at Navi Mumbai in 2014, Scimitar syndrome in type 1 diabetes mellitus: A case report”, published in International Journal of Current Research in December 2015, “Loss of HER-2 expression after Trastuzumab treatment in locally advanced breast cancer: A case report”, Annals of International Medicine & Dental Research in December 2017 and “Primary malignant melanoma of breast: A unique case report”, Indian Journal of Case Reports in February 2019 are some of the finest examples of his theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Besides being brilliant at Academia and holding tremendous amount of Oncology experience, Dr. Patel took part in prominent activities such as “Cardiac arrhythmia management – Simulation based workshop” by Prof. Giuseppe A. Marraro of Italy at Dr. D. Y. Patil medical simulation lab in Navi Mumbai, Poster presentation in MAPCON-2014 conference on “DRESS syndrome”, and Poster presentation in RSSDI-2015 conference on “Scimitar syndrome in type 1 diabetes mellitus: A case report”. Besides this, he has been an active participant at quiz competition of Mumbai Hematology Group in 2015. Along with all these participations, Dr. Patel has managed to carve a niche for himself in the Oncology Department. His paper presentation on “Metabolic syndrome: a risk factor of cardio-vascular diseases” in MEDIACE-2015 conference explicated in-depth knowledge of the subject matter. And not to forget that he has been a part of European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) Academy 2019, Oxford, England too. Dr. Patel has been constantly active in maintaining a healthy record of his proceedings in Oncology sector. He has been a member of International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA), Association of Medical Consultants (AMC) and even European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).
