• Dr. Dnyandeo Chopade is a Consultant Medical Geneticist and the director at “Genetic Health & Research Centre”, Nashik from 2003. • He did his MBBS and MS (Human Anatomy) from Government Medical College, Nagpur in the year 1995, and got trained in medical genetics from Adelaide University, Australia; Saint John’s Medical College, Banglore and Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital Mumbai. • He is a doctorate (PhD) in Medical Genetics from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. • He is providing the medical genetic services to the patients from North Maharashtra region for the last 16 years. He has a wide experience in the field of Clinical Genetics, Reproductive Genetics, Cytogenetics and Clinical Embryology. • He is the founder president of ‘Down’s Syndrome Care Association, India’ and is supporting about 300 families with children having Down’s Syndrome from the state of Maharashtra. • He has worked as a professor in medical colleges in India, with a teaching experience of more than 20 years.
