Dr. Shrikant Nimbhorkar, Consultant Psychiatrist, completed his graduation from Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal and did his Post-Graduation, DPM and M. D. In Psychological Medicine from the renowned institute T. N . M. C & B. Y. L Nair Hospital, Mumbai in 2008. During his academic career he was bestowed with several awards and honors like ''Gold Medal and Major General Jennings Award' for highest marks obtained in DPM. He also won 'Young Talent Scholar Award' at National level in 2008, and Dr. A. K. Naik award for best research paper at Annual Zonal Conference at Mumbai. Dr. Shrikant has gained expertise in diagnosis and management of various psychiatric disorders. He is trained and certified by BOMBAY DRUG DE-ADDICTION CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (KEM HOSPITAL, MUMBAI) in management of patients suffering from addiction of various drugs and substances. During his academic career he developed special interest in Childhood psychological problems like Mental retardation, Slow learners, Autistic disorders, Dyslexia, and Childhood behavioral problems. He received specialized training at Life Center for Learning Disability, Mumbai for screening and management of children with Dyslexia. He has also worked at renowned memory clinic of Nair Hospital, Mumbai and got training in screening and management of patients suffering from Dementia. He has also conducted various research drug trials and also published papers during his academics in various journals. Currently he is practicing in Nagpur since last 12 years and has been associated as Consultant at various institutes in Nagpur.
