He has completed his AO International fellowship in trauma and reconstruction surgery from Katharien Hospital Stuttgart and B G Trauma Centre Tubingen in Germany in 1994. He completed his Fellowship in Knee Reconstruction and Sports Medicine at Insall Scott Kelly Institute, Beth Israel Medical Centre New York, USA and Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction Joint Replacement at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, USA in 1999. He has also done his Fellowship in Arthritis and Joint Reconstruction at Ranawat Orthopaedic Research Foundation, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, USA and Cartilage Transplantation Course – New York, USA in 2000. He worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Bombay Hospital Medical Research Centre, Mumbai – March 2000 to August 2003, Breach Candy Hospital and Cumballa Hill Hospital Mumbai. He has also worked with Late Dr K T Dholakia, for 13 years in Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. He pioneered in India – Computer Assisted Rotating Platform Flex Knee Replacement, for complete knee bending after Total Knee Replacement. He got recognition blessings from the Late Mother Teresa for knee replacement surgery in 1995. To his credit his patient had fastest recovery after total knee replacement and going home within 14 hours after operation in January 2010. He has performed more than 2500 joint replacement surgeries. He is also specialist in Revision Joint Replacement surgeries as well.
