When I hear the phrase tooth loss, I immediately think of dental hygiene and the importance of taking care of our teeth. Poor dental hygiene can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth loss. I am also aware that there are other factors that can contribute to tooth loss such as genetics, trauma, and certain medical conditions. It is fascinating to learn that older Americans are keeping their teeth longer, which is a positive trend for overall dental health, according to a 2016 study.

The choice of treatment depends on various factors, such as your budget, personal preference, and the overall health of your jawbone and remaining teeth.
